Malz-Ginzburg joined the INSS research staff in July 2009. She completed her Ph.D. in the Department of International Relations at Hebrew University, where she focused on the influence of culture on Israel’s defense policy from 1949-1956. Her primary areas of expertise are socio-cultural influences on security doctrine in Israel, and arms control and Middle East regional security.
