Transition from Print to Digital Delivery

Beginning in January 2009, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists will be available in its new digital format. You will still receive the same news and analysis you have come to rely on, but in a dynamic, more interactive format where you can bookmark articles, set up news alerts, browse by subject and author, and more.

Print subscribers can gain access to the digital edition of the Bulletin of the Atomic
Scientists by first registering, and then submitting their unique “Activation Code.” An overview of the registration and Activation Code process appears below. If you have lost or not yet received your “Activation Code” by mail, please click here to reclaim your Activation Code via e-mail.

Registration and Activation Process Overview

Step One: Contact Details

Fill in your name, first and last, in the space provided. Now fill in a valid and current email address.

Step Two: Create your username and password

Fill in your username in the space provided. Your username must be at least four
characters (letters or numbers) in length. Examples include: your first initial and last name (jdoe), or your first name and date of birth (john010208). Get creative if you like!

Create a password and confirm the password in the space provided. Your password must be at least six characters in length and must contain at least one alphanumeric character (letter) and one numeric character (number). Do not use your username or any part of your username in the password.

Step Three: Click the “Register” button to complete your registration.

LEAVE “TOKEN” FIELD BLANK!

There is no code to be entered on the “Register Individual” page. Click the “Register” button to complete your registration then follow the instructions in Step Four to activate your subscription.

Step Four: Now that your registration is complete, select “Activate Subscription” from the menu to the right.

Step Five: Enter the 9-digit “Activation Code” in the space provided then click “Activate Subscription.”

Note: You should have received your 9-digit “Activation Code” from us in the mail. If you have not received a letter from us with your Activation Code or you have misplaced it, please click here to reclaim your Activation Code via e-mail.

Step Six: Congratulations

You should now see the message: “Congratulations! Your subscription was successfully activated.” you’ll now have access to all of the Bulletin’s informative articles and features at work, at home--anywhere you have internet access, you’ll be able to read the latest from the Bulletin.
